Wow! What a historic game! For the first time in over TEN years, Saruman was the victor! Congratulations to Grant Frydenlund, who now joins the very small fraternity of individuals who have achieved a White Hand victory. In honor of this remarkable feat, you'll notice that I've given the winning White Hand team its own gallery page for this game!
Of course, this is not to diminish the excellent leadership of the other wizards: Scott Pannier as Gandalf, Derek Novy as Sauron, and Caroline Lueneberg as Radagast. As a referee, I was exceptionally pleased at the excellent sportsmanship on the part of all the wizards, and indeed, on the part of all players. Near as I could tell, there was very little shenanigans for a change. <g>
On the cautionary tale side, we did also have someone who had to be taken to the hospital for stitches because a weapon was inadequately peace-bound. Let this be a lesson for the future: be VERY sure that your weapons are firmly tied into their sheaths. If all you have is the little snap that came with the sword, that ain't enough—get some twine and knot that sucker in there! Thanks! Safety is our #1 priority, you know!

In addition to these galleries, some folks have also posted their photos elsewhere on the web. In addition, if you're interested in seeing large-size versions of the thumbnail "close-up" images on the team gallery pages, I loaded 'em on Facebook, because I can. Some of these you may need to be a Facebook member for (I know you don't for mine), plus I can't guarantee how long these links will be good, but here you go:
